Chile, like any major tourist destination, has a ton of different hotels in many destinations. Many of the hotels are not easily found or booked so it is good to go through a specialized travel agent to book hotels for your trip to Chile.
In addition, all hotels carry a 21% IVA tourist tax in Chile. Be sure to inquire about the tax before booking accommodation in Chile. Even a hotel you buy on Expedia will be quoted at a certain rate, but if you read the fine print, you will see that you may be subject to other taxes. If you choose to travel with AR Tourism, all the taxes are included in the price of your trip, and any rate for a hotel that AR Tourism quotes to you, will be a final price for that hotel and will already include all fees and taxes.
